Every Savvy Wed day is made up of the essential elements that make up an amazing day. We ensure that your day is not crazy expensive, your quote is only made up of what we believe to be essential and anything else is up to you as to whether you want to add on or upgrade.

    Byron Bay is one of the most stunning and unique parts of Australia; from the gorgeous, white sand beaches wrapping around the iconic Lighthouse cape to the lush, panoramic hinterland above.

    This unique package has been designed for the couple who wants to experience all aspects of this beautiful area; your ceremony and cocktail hour will take place in front of the stunning secluded lake, surrounded by lush rolling hills. Your guests will sip on hand-crafted cocktails and nibble on exquisite canapés as they roam the grounds, serenaded by beautiful live music.

    Cue seamless transition- The iconic Magic Bus or Steves Luxury Transport arrives to whisk you and your guests down the hills and into the heart of Byron Bay to arrive at your exclusive reception venue to wine, dine and dance the night away.

    This package is for couples who want their guests to experience the best of everything that Byron has to offer and create a truly unique and memorable celebration!


    This awe-inspiring ceremony venue offers a fairytale setting overlooking a lake with water lilies and a little rowboat beside an old wooden jetty. Positioned on a 100 acre private property in the hinterland, Forget Me Not is secluded however only a 10 minute drive from Byron Bay and neighbouring boutique town of Bangalow.

    There is no need to leave the venue for photos either. This will allow for more time spent with your friends and family and the diverse setting, bathed in natural light, will provide you with the most beautiful photography.


    The Italian Byron Bay is a stunning, beach-front venue in the heart of Byron- a contemporary Italian restaurant offering fresh, generous and distinctive meals in an intimate setting.

    You will have exclusive use of the restaurant- a stunning, bespoke venue with many unique aspects and ocean views. The gorgeous interior can be turned into anything you can imagine, using their beautiful existing furniture and our hire furniture we have incorporated in the package. There is a private courtyard area, surrounded by lush palm trees, as well as a dance floor area. This venue can accommodate bands as well as a DJ and is one of the only wedding venues around with a late curfew. No after party required!



    You will have exclusive use of the property at Forget Me Not. Prizewinning gardens and a spectacular lake filled with water lilies frame this luxe oasis. From these surrounds, your choice of ceremony spots are endless.  Cocktail Hour

    Your cocktail hour will take place on the stunning grounds, taking advantage of the magical surroundings.


    Your transport will take your guests into town to the Italian for more cocktails, wine, stunning food and dancing.

    Transport for your guests will be arranged with the fabulous Magic Bus or Steves Transport. They will pick up your guests from 2 locations in the Byron Bay town centre to head up to Forget Me Not and back into town to the Italian for your reception. Includes shuttle bus to get down the driveway for Magic Bus.

    Accommodation at Forget Me Not epitomizes the ultimate groomsmen fit-out.  It’s decked out with a western-styled saloon bar and billiards table. It also contains a separate bedroom, bathroom, kitchen,  swimming pool, undercover deck, BBQ area and even an outdoor fire pit to warm those winter nights! Your package includes one night at either the 1b/r accommodation at the homestead or the honeymoon suite at the 1 Bedroom cottages (completed at the end of the year).  

    ** Additional nights’ accommodation can be booked (when available) . There will be another  3 x two bedroom cottages available at an additional cost for further guests.

    Fig Tree Catering

    The Fig Tree Restaurant has long been famed as one of the most iconic restaurants & wedding venues in the region. Opening in 1981, as a restored original farmhouse with a vegetable garden, orchard & a farces of cattle.

    The menus change to reflect the whims of nature – what is landing off the boats; what is picked from our garden and what is reared in the paddocks, which surround Byron Bay. The Fig Tree has crafted a selection of individual dishes that will leave your guests raving about your wedding food.

    All of our weddings are BYO. How good is that?!

    All alcohol and drinks can be delivered direct to FMN for us to put on ice. Our wait staff are professionally trained and certified. 

    We will look after complete bar set up and cocktail making of one cocktail of your choice. For your ease, we will include our recommendations for quantities (based on your guest numbers) in your personalised quote.

    The Italian Byron Bay has long been known for their exquisite and locally foraged menu, regarded as one of the best restaurants in town. Their talented head chef and highly experienced event coordinator have created the perfect menu for your big day; whether you want a long, roaming cocktail reception or an intimate sit down dinner.

    Your Savvy Wed Menu at the Italian Byron Bay Includes the choice of two styles of dinner service:

    Your drinks at The Italian Byron Bay

    The Italian has crafted the perfect 5 hour drink package for your big day, which includes:

  • 1 Sparkling, 1 White Wine, 1 Red Wine, 2 Beers, Soft Drink, Still & Sparkling Mineral Water
  • *Option to add in Specialty Cocktail Package at $25pp/hour

    *Drink package can be extended to 6 hours for an additional $12.50pp

    We have curated a standard package with our stylists which covers off all of the basics for your dream day (at a special discount price exclusively for our Savvy Wed couples)!

    Steve’s Transport

    Steve’s Mini Bus & Luxury Hire specialise in tailored transport services to suit any occasion. Our private and luxury transport services can cater for any wedding in the Northern Rivers Area.

    Our professional drivers are passionate about ensuring that the journey to and from your event is a smooth and enjoyable experience. For your wedding, arrive feeling refreshed and relaxed with our seamless transport solutions.

    Byron Bay Double Deckers

    Smiles will be hard suppressed on disembarking, creating a union of love and friendship for your special ceremony ahead. Their fleet consists of 3 beautiful double decker buses. The amazing colourful Magic Bus can seat 72 passengers and our vintage Red Buses can seat 69 passengers each. However we do allow for additional passengers depending on the venue and how big the numbers are. Your Savvy Wed Transport Package Includes:

  • 2 Pickups from town to venue and return to town at the end of the night
  • Choice of either the iconic Magic Bus or one of their classic Big Red Buses


    Please refer to the venue’s most recent terms and conditions available on their website. All musicians & DJs have been pre-approved by Savvy Wed for this venue.
    Drums, bagpipes or any wind instruments are not permitted. 
    All music is to be lightly amplified (limit set in Byron Bay & the hinterland is 94 db) 
    No BYO PA systems are permitted.
    We allow live acoustic music up until departure at FMN
    Ceremony - set up is usually panoramic terrace & is un-amplified
    No live music after sunset outside after 6pm, whichever is earlier.
    VENUES T&C's sent separately and must be signed directly with venue

    Hiring of Additional Items

    All additional essential equipment is hired by Savvy Wed. This ensures quality, consistency and uniformity and covers all standard crockery, cutlery and glassware from ramekins, platters, serving spoons through to bar glasses. This cost covers our standard collection for tableware. If you would like to upgrade to alternative items such as gold cutlery or crystal cut glassware, this is hired for an additional cost direct with the Wedding Shed.

    Please Note: Breakages or damages resulting from guests’ use are charged at replacement costs.


    For safety and practicality reasons, all candles with naked flames must be contained within a vessel. We recommend battery candles or larger vessels to protect from the wind. Taper candles & candelabras are not permitted.


    Basic lighting has been supplied by Savvy Wed. If you would like to add to this package please refer to the Savvy Wed supplier list and contact the supplier direct to discuss options as an add on. 


    Please note, only fresh or dried flower petals as confetti, are to be used. We recommend rose petals or lavender. Please consult your wedding planner if you are unsure. 

    DIY Items and Set Up

    All DIY items and decorations are to be dropped off between 12pm and 2pm the day before your wedding. Savvy Wed staff will happily set up your decorations. Included in the above quote are 3 hours of set up and 2 hours of the packing down of all hired and included furniture and decorations, as well as your DIY items. 

  • Should additional time be required to set up your DIY items, a fee of $40 per hour, per staff member will be applied. 
  • Please provide your Savvy Wed go-to with a detailed list of all DIY decorations for an estimate.
  • Please Note: All DIY items must be labelled with your name and collected at 10am the day after your wedding when you check out. Forget Me Not and the Italian are not able to store any items left behind.

    Wet Weather Options at Forget Me Not

  • The first option is to wait 30 min for the shower to pass.
  • The second option, which is always the backup, is to hire a ceremony marquee at an additional cost
